Stalking Your Prey Specialty Workshop

Instructor: Danielle

Spring has sprung and all the creatures great and small are waking up. All of the carnivores who have gone hungry through the winter are keen to find and consume their prey. Is there a creature within you ready to hunt?

In this workshop, we will explore exercises that will bring out your inner prowler. Will you slink through the underbrush like a big cat? Do you play with your food before consuming it in a catch and release? Maybe you prefer to lurk in the shadows until it is time to strike. Exercises will give you the opportunity to play with intention and menacing movements that evoke a hunting predator and a chance to embrace that energy in an individual dance.

Prerequisite: Should be comfortable freestyling and interacting with other dancers. Touching other dancers will not be required.

Doors will lock at the start of class. Please plan accordingly and arrive at least 10 minutes before class.

Pass Required: Specialty Workshop

Recording: This class allows dance recordings!
