Cross-Training for Pole Workshop

Are you intrigued about the idea of cross-training and its benefits for your pole practice but not sure where to start? The gym can be a very overwhelming place. Building a program requires a lot of foundational knowledge to feel confident and prevent injury.

This workshop spotlights the foundations of cross-training for pole and aerial athletes so that you can step into the gym and start leveling up your pole game.

We will discuss how to build a routing utilizing progressive overload, exercise selection, volume and schedule, proper rest and refueling, and how to use weights to improve flexibility. That’s right! Building stronger muscles does not mean you need sacrifice your flexibility gains!

Cross training is critical component of a pole journey whether you are a novice or a professional pole dancer. This is a holistic course designed to foster body appreciation and empower you with knowledge.

Dr. Jenna Zampiello graduated from Bastyr University in 2010. She has been practicing Naturopathic medicine and acupuncture in the Seattle community ever since. Her clinical focus includes women's health, optimal hormones for men and women, digestion, wellness for master's athletes, allergies, autoimmune issues, and chronic illness. She has been pole dancing since 2011 and cross-training for pole for over 6 years. She has worked with many professional coaches in that time frame while refining her practice.
