Wall Workshop

Instructor: Missy

This unique 2-hour workshop delves into the intricate connection between the dancer's body and the vertical surface, utilizing the wall as both a support and a dance partner. By immersing in various movement phases, dancers have the opportunity to explore uncharted dimensions of movement, ultimately molding these movements into their own distinctive style. This class enhances spatial awareness and body control and provides a fresh outlook on dance technique. Students will engage in movement sequences that flirt with the boundaries of balance, strength, and flexibility, incorporating slides, presses, and new shapes against the wall.
