Come find your way upside down with a focus on strong fundamentals!
As polers, we often think of inversions as aerial tricks, but there are fun ways to dance through inverted shapes without ever fully leaving the ground!
In this series, we’ll find shapes that get your hips above your head while keeping in contact with the floor, including variations of shoulder stands, shoulder rolls, forearm stands, and more! As you build confidence in these shapes, we’ll find combos that string multiple movements together giving you plenty of ways to dance upside down on the ground.
No prior experience with inverting is necessary!
Kneepads and socks are recommended, heels are welcome but optional, shorts may be helpful in some shapes.
Prerequisite: Pole or Boudoir 101, willing to freestyle and roll around on the ground.
Doors will lock at the start of class. Please plan accordingly and arrive at least 10 minutes before class.

Recording: This class allows dance recordings!
